While our captain Antoine van der Linden was out supsended I was Heracles Almelo-captain for the first time! To make it even better we beat NAC Breda in our first home match of the season, 2-1.

I got an invitation from a school in Almelo to help them with raising some money for a school for orphans in Uganda. The wanted me to be the bingo master...

After a deserved 3-0 win over ADO Den Haag in our last league match, we managed to qualify for the Europa League play offs for the second season in a row! We are now playing FC Groningen in the semi finals.

After a fighting 1-2 win at NAC Breda ánd because our play offs competitors both lost their game we're at our desired 8th place in the table with only one match to be played left. And the 8th position would qualify us for the Europa League play offs again.

To keep in touch with the 8th position, that would allow us to reach the play offs, we had to beat number 2 PSV. We really played well, were at least equal to them but 2 failed off side traps and a penalty miss cost us the game.

After a marvelous run of play (with lots of goals) we are still fighting to reach the play-offs. So we had to win at Willem II, the bottom of the table. And we did. And guess what: I scored again!

We won our important home match against Excelsior and are now virtually safe for the season. Almost even important: I finally scored a goal!
